Dr. Austin Greaves provides individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults coping with a broad variety of clinical issues. Drawing predominately upon psychodynamic and attachment theory, Dr. Greaves strives to facilitate a warm and supportive environment whereby his clients may ease into the therapeutic process in a manner that feels comfortable. It is his ongoing goal to meet his clients where they are at and to work towards facilitating an ongoing sense of safety and growth.
Dr. Greaves is experienced in providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy as well as conducting psychological assessments. He is particularly interested in the ways in which socially constructed norms regarding gender influence the identity and experience of the individuals he works with.

His training experiences include the George Washington University Center Clinic, the Child Guidance Clinic at the District of Columbia Superior Courts, and the George Washington Hospital.
