Isaac Friedman, PsyD
Dr. Friedman received his Masters’ and Doctoral degrees from the American School for Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Northern Virginia. His externship training at Spring Grove Hospital Center gave him solid grounding in therapy and evaluations with mentally ill adults. He completed his predoctoral internship at the John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents (RICA) in Rockville MD providing treatment and assessments for youth with severe emotional disturbance. After completing his doctorate, Dr. Friedman worked as a postdoc and then a full psychologist at the Treehouse Child Advocacy Center in Montgomery County providing treatment and assessment for youth exposed to abuse and neglect. Following this, Dr. Friedman has completed trainings focusing on gaining a deeper understanding of the assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.

Dr. Friedman is licensed in the State of Maryland. He specializes in psychological assessment, including comprehensive and psychoeducational evaluations of children, adolescents, and adults. He is certified in Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) and completed training and supervision for Trauma Focused – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Dr. Friedman is warm and empathetic and aims to have a deep, holistic understanding of his clients. His assessments take multiple sources of objective data to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning, with thorough recommendations for accommodations. Dr. Friedman is fluent in American Sign Language.
