John Gotlewski, Psy.D.
Dr. Gotlewski is the owner and principal of Psychological Solutions, LLC. He founded the practice in 2004 to serve communities in and around Montgomery County. He has assembled a staff of highly skilled, experienced clinicians to provide individualized treatment plans for a variety of mental health disorders and life issues. While Psychological Solutions provides treatment for a wide spectrum of people and disorders, the typical client tends to be a high-functioning person who is experiencing distress in one or more specific areas of their lives.
Dr. Gotlewski's areas of expertise include relationship issues, substance abuse disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, general mood disorders and grief/loss.
Dr. Gotlewski earned his Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University in 2002. Previously, he earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling Psychology from Towson University in 1998. Dr. Gotlewski's training experiences include Circle Treatment Center, Chestnut Lodge Hospital, Community Psychiatric Centers Inc., Fairfax County Public Schools and The George Washington University Center Clinic. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Graydon Manor in Leesburg, VA in 2002.
Prior to founding Psychological Solutions, Dr. Gotlewski was employed as the Clinical Director at Circle Treatment Center in Gaithersburg, MD and as a consultant with Graydon Manor. He is a Fellow of the Maryland Psychological Association and a Member of the American Psychological Association.
