Dr. Rebecca Dudley is a Licensed Psychologist (PhD) in the state of Maryland. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2016 after completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Gettysburg College. Her internship year was spent at Spring Grove Hospital Center in Catonsville, MD, where she completed rotations with both adolescents and adults. After graduating with her doctorate degree, she focused on treating military service members and dependents who had recently been psychiatrically hospitalized following a suicidal crisis. Dr. Dudley’s research interests are twofold; she has intensively studied both adolescent narcissism and risk and protective factors for suicide.

Dr. Dudley has a wide range of clinical experiences employing evidence-based treatment. Much of her training has focused on working with adolescents and young adults. Within these populations, she has significant experience treating depression, anxiety, suicidality, and serious mental illness. She also has training related to managing traumatic experiences. Additionally, she is interested in developmental difficulties associated with adolescence and early adulthood. She is available to complete psychoeducational assessments.

Dr. Dudley’s style is to meet the client where they are at. She tends to be empathetic and nonjudgmental. Treatment works best when a solid and trusting therapeutic relationship is first developed. Dr. Dudley works primarily through a cognitive-behavioral lens, though she considers the client’s needs in developing an individualized treatment plan.
